It gives us great pleasure to announce the launch of our latest collection!
It has taken longer than normal (sorry!) as we have been just so busy making all the orders from September’s London Edge, that it has taken longer than normal to photograph all the new styles.
However, now they are here, and what better timing than the build up to the party season to have the most sparkle-tastic collection we have ever produced! Be sure to get yourself comfortable – looking through two whole pages of glittery spiky-ness is not something you want to rush!
We were very fortunate to work with one of our newest favourite photographers, Rebecca Seal-Davis of Amplified Pulse Photography. I’m sure you’ll agree that the images are super. And starring in the photos is none other than our Baby Prong, Mam’zelle Maz (who actually makes the jewellery as well as wears it!)

In late August, we were approached by one of our favourite designers, Velda Lauder, with a request to lend some jewellery to the filming of the latest Puppini Sisters video and we jumped at the chance!
Not only are we fans of the Puppini Sisters, but we also got to be featured alongside Velda Lauder corsets, Ayten Gasson lingerie, and Terry de Havilland shoes! Wow!
As it was just before our trade show, we were able to lend some of the newest and coolest jewellery we have, and boy does it look fab!
September saw Prong Jewellery exhibiting at London Edge once again!
It’s our favourite trade show, and where we launch new designs every six months. Before hand, it’s always a tense time – have we remembered to bring everything, are the designs good enough, all the usual anxieties! But as usual, everything was organised perfectly fine, and it was a non-stop three days of seeing our favourite customers returning to see what’s new, and meeting new people who were ordering for the first time.
And it was our most successful show ever! The new designs went down a treat, and we returned home after the show with happy hearts and full order books!
Here’s a few shots of our new designs on display at the Lolita in Wonderland II on the 14th May. We particularly like the new lace bows and cherry necklaces! Oh, and the new silk rosebud alicebands! We’ll let you know as soon as these are available on the website.
Take a sneaky look into the Prong workshop! It’s small and cramped, and when everything is out it’s hard to tell the difference between the coffee and the jewels… But when we’ve just returned from a shopping trip for new components and samples, it’s where the sparks of creativity are formed.
We’re currently working on a slightly different style to normal – Gothic Lolita to be exact! Due in no small part to the fact that we’re attending a Lolita festival this coming Saturday the 14th – click here to see all the details and come along! So lots of ribbons, roses, bows and lace are involved, not to mention the diamonds and glitter.
And of course, some of the exsisting designs will also be coming along – there is such a crossover that we can’t wait to see the finalised designs! Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the event itself, we’ll be posting pictures of all the new styles very soon afterwards
Over here at Prong HQ, we are beginning to think about the future, and hence, our new flyers. The last set we had (and there were 3 in total!) were all superb, but the main one featured the very talented Mam’zelle Maz and the fabulous photography of Out-Of-Order (see below). That one is going to take some beating, as we’re still in love with it!

Prong Jewellery was very excited to be approached by stylist Karl Plewka in January 2011 to supply some our super bow ties to fashion designer A-lister, John Rocha. John requested that we even make one of the ties in white latex just for the show, and we were only too happy to oblige.
